KOREA POLY SCHOOL

My first job in Korea was in the Research and Development Division of Korea Poly School - a private academy tailored to Korean students who have returned from living abroad. I also taught lessons at various branches of the school as a substitute teacher, and to model and deliver programs that were developed at our headquarters.

I researched, developed, and wrote English-language curriculum documents including textbooks, quizzes, tests, online homework programs, video lessons, and songs. I planned and presented two teacher training workshops at the bi-annual KPS conference. I also coordinated judging teams and created standardized rubrics as Chief Judge for a campus-wide speech contest for over 5,000 students.

Although much of the website is in Korean, you can get some idea about their programs here.
